Discover the art of modern calligraphy with this beginner's kit that includes all the essential tools to get you started.
This beginners modern calligraphy gift set is a thoughtful present for someone special who loves to express their creativity, or an excellent opportunity for you to acquire a new skill and find relaxation through mindfulness.
The standard kit includes:
- Straight pen holder (dip pen holder)
- Zebra Chrome G nib and envelope
- Black ink
- 11 page guided workpack, created by me, covering the practise strokes, warmup exercises, lowercase letterforms, simple flourishing and example words with flourishes.
- A5 letter directions
- Handwritten name on front
- Handwritten quote inside the box
Optional add-ons (£5 each):
- Black brush pen, a great addition to any calligraphy set and something I reach for as much as the dip pen.
- Gold ink (to use with nib included in standard kit)
- Uppercase letters worksheets
The kit will be sent out to you in a white parcel box with outer protective packaging. Kit will be sent in the post to the UK address provided at checkout. If you're local to me (RG27) you're welcome to collect, just let me know ASAP via email once you've purchased - info@jodierosecalligraphy.com

A small shop of calligraphy supplies will be available after the workshop, including worksheets and pens, to help you further your lettering journey. Cash and card accepted.You are buying a non-refundable space on the date chosen. If you're no longer able to make it, you can transfer your space to a loved one (please let me know before hand - info@jodierosecalligraphy.com), or if the workshop is sold out, there may be a waiting list I could pass your space onto, allowing you to move to a different date.

- After purchase, please check your junkfolder for the order confirmation as this email often gets lost in there... or save this webpage to refer back to.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to have your tea/coffee and cake order taken and to settle in. The workshop will begin promptly at the stated start time.
- We will be using black ink, so please don't wear clothes that are precious to you. You're welcome to bring an apron if you wish to.
- If you wear glasses, please bring them with you.
