I recently had so much fun running a modern calligraphy workshop for a lovely hen party in Farnham, Surrey! The group of ladies were ready to get creative, have a laugh and try something completely new together.
We spent the session learning the basics of modern calligraphy, practising different letter styles and getting to grips with using the brush pens. It was amazing to see everyone relax, have fun and develop their own unique style as the workshop went on...
To finish the session, each hen created a beautiful handmade greeting card for the bride-to-be. From sweet messages to hand-lettered phrases like “Beautiful Bride”, every card was completely personal and made with lots of love.
It was such a lovely way to celebrate the bride and bring everyone together. A creative workshop is the perfect addition to a hen do — with plenty of laughs and a handmade keepsake to remember the day!
