09.02.24 - Modern Calligraphy for Beginners - Valentine's - Hartley Wintney

Join me for an introduction to modern calligraphy, Valentine's style!

Friday 9th February 2024 10:00-12:30

On arrival, you will be given your calligraphy kit, including dip pen holder, nib, ink and worksheets, to use throughout the session (this is all yours to take home!).

There will be plenty of one-to-one time during the group workshop so each student has enough time & attention to help develop their own style at their own pace.

You will learn the basic strokes, practice writing the alphabet, learn how to join the letters up to make words and learn how to add in simple flourishes. I will also show you techniques which will help you to find your own style.

We will finish off the workshop by creating a valentine's greeting card to take home to your loved one!

Tea, coffee and cake included.

Maximum of 12 attendees per workshop.

Venue: Cuppies n Cream (cuppiesncream.co.uk) is a gorgeous treat & coffee shop situated on Hartley Wintney high street. There is access to customer toilets. There is plenty of parking around Hartley Wintney, including at the doctor's surgery across the road which is inexpensive to park in.
